Can anyone recommend a gun range in DFW where I can pattern my shotguns? Either for home defense or just to know how my chokes are doing.

I really miss PSC in Friendswood -- it was so nice and easy there.

Thanks in advance for suggestions!!

I remember when Bullet Trap would sell you a patterning target. I tested my 1100 there many years ago. I guess things change.

Grand prairie gun club opens their ranges to the public the third Saturday of every month. Their board is at the far end of the skeet fields. If you find yourself over this way give me a shout and I can help you.

Even to non-citizens? ;-)

I'm speaking of me, of course - just curious, because I wanted to join there a few years ago and I was told "US citizens only". Um..... ok......... :???:
Strange rule :headscratch

I was a member of GPGC and I never saw that in the by-laws. Anybody that can find and pony up $$$s for one of their 'shares' should be able to get in. I sold mine when I moved from Keller over here to Terrell and joined TRPC (this is the best club I have ever belonged to BTW). Anyway - the third saturday they open the gates - you just pay the non-member round costs (if you can even get a field).

Andy:
I have been unable to get any response from the gpgc.net site for some time. Does it work for you?

IANAL - but in this case I would think someone with Qualified Alien Status should meet the membership definition of citizen. A QA can get welfare and foodstamps...

Yes, it works fine for me every time I bring it up - strange.
It would appear that SNORT has their IP listed as a "Known BOT C&C Server Traffic" site, so requests to it are being dropped by my firewall.

It seems that GPGC uses a shared hosting site. One of the domains on that host has been compromised by the Zeus bot -- not necessarily GPGC, but possibly another site on the same host (with the same IP).

If anyone here has contacts in GPGC, you might inform them.
