Not sure. Did they give you a member number??
If so, it still might take a few days to get you in the system. Or not.

I gave my regular member when upgraded, not sure if I will use the same number or a new number is issued.

Not to sound cheap (but it is just 2 days after Christmas) - can you do the Easy Pay on the $300 life?

No, you have to pay the full amount in one payment. I'm pretty sure that the easy pay is only available for the full price un-sponsored life membership....$1,000 or $1,500, whatever it is now.....grumble wrote:Not to sound cheap (but it is just 2 days after Christmas) - can you do the Easy Pay on the $300 life?

Just want to thank The Annoyed Man, Mike1951, and Jumping Frog for responding to the sponsorship information. I was able to get through yesterday and all they asked for was sponsor member number, zip code, and credit payment for the full $300. They said it will take a two full weeks for processing and it included a magazine subscription. Thanks again for all the help.

Re: NRA Life Memberships for $300
Wow, I didn't know this! Congrats and thank you to those members!
Contributory Life Memberships
(Offered to Fully Paid Life Members)
Endowment Member $2,000
Patron Member $3,500
Benefactor Member $5,000
Endowment, Patron and Benefactor members are eligible to vote in NRA elections, receive special recognition at NRA events, and are sent credentials including a certificate suitable for framing, a lapel pin, a decal, a patch, and a new membership card so you can proudly display your membership status.
Members are entitled to a credit based on the current value of whatever level of life membership they now hold. [For example: If you are already an Endowment member (currently valued at $2,000) you need only pay the additional $1,500 to reach $3,500 and the Patron level]

Re: NRA Life Memberships for $300
If was in the black, I would jump on the $5,000 Benefactor membership. Alas, I still have some 6-9 months to to be debt free. Investing in NRA is more impotant than buying a nice pistol and long rifle.

If still available, I think I could use a sponsor as well.
Thanks,
