Update

no news

http://wreg.com/2014/12/19/no-arrests-n ... rs-murder/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Blogs tell a different tale.

http://clashdaily.com/2014/12/jessica-c ... ite-women/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Social media posts call for "rape, burning white women" apparently the statement was prompted by a satirical news story that one local person thought was real.

Jessica's father apparently works for the Sheriff's department, but is not an officer. One of the posts was by the sister of her former boyfriend, a supposed gang member.

Move along, nothing to see here.

No news really.

However this was telling.

Video of someone filling a jug with gasoline at the station she was at.

Yeah, I'd be wanting to talk to that person.

"Waiting on Subpoenas" Hmm biggest murder case in Mississippi at the moment and your having to wait on subpoenas, that doesn't sound quite right.

I'm not opposed to the death penalty in the least as a punishment for heinous murder. Additionally, I believe the murderer(s) should live as austere a life as possible before the sentence is carried out. However, I also believe that it should be carried out with as little emotion or fanfare as possible, so that the condemned cannot find any solace, nor anything tangible to hang defiance upon; I want them to go away broken, as they broke those that they murdered. They should be hung, or shot by firing squad, and it should all be done from behind a wall, so the murderer(s) have zero human contact once led into the chamber and placed in restraints. No last words, no audience, just them going away forever. Their remains should then be buried in an unmarked grave so they may be forgotten. So many good people have been taken from this earth before their natural end, it truly hurts my heart if I think about it too much.

How come this and other similar crimes are not prosecuted under the "hate crime" law? Similar case: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murders_o ... her_Newsom Racism is wrong any way you slice it. Also, google, "emily haddock murder" where a 12 year old girl was brutally murdered and then the killers were allowed to walk with just slaps on the wrists because a certain group of people are overly represented in jail so they were handed limp sentences to be more "fair" to this group. I purposely did not post the link to her case online because all the websites were from racist groups. Any hate crime against any group should be prosecuted as a hate crime. The answer to racism is not to answer with racism but to punish the evildoers because they're evildoers not because they belong to a certain group. R.I.P. to the victims.

Better yet do away with the notion of 'hate crime' since it's another form of discrimination. Every crime could be considered a hate crime if any/some crimes are considered so. "Hate crimes" are another of the "feelings" groups inventions. They should be done away with along with "affirmative action" (code for discrimination), undocumented workers (code for criminal invaders) and any other forms of "feels good" or "sounds pretty" masking of the truth.
It's fine if you disagree. I can't force you to be correct.

Almost a year after her terrible murder Jessica Chambers makes the cover of People Magazine. Real news sources have paid no attention, but she makes the cover of a celebrity magazine because she was young, blonde and pretty.

Despicable.
The case is also drawing the attention of scammers, who have set up fake fundraising pages.

Lisa Chambers was stunned when she saw a page administrator post a warning about someone trying to scam money for her late daughter. The page has since been taken down.
