Just how many people are out there right now, seething with such rage that they seize the chance to hurt and kill strangers? ....

I have said this very same thing about three or four mass shootings ago. They are out there right now with their rage and hatred for ______ (fill in the blank) fermenting. My wife was just headed to the grocery store and I asked her if she had her gun - "no but I'll get it.."

Democrats are all pushing hard on an "assault weapons" ban. My fear is that some republicans will decide it might be advantageous politically to go along with it.

I expect we'll see a magazine limit at the very least.

What is the definition of a high cap magazine? All of my AR mags are regular cap - 30 rounds. My 1911’s are regular cap mags 8 rounds and my Glocks are regular cap magazines from 15-17 rounders. So what is a High Capacity Magazines for these “weapons of mass destruction?”


These people are not all mental. I read a study from the FBI that 75% of them were normal. We need to say what it is and that is rather we like it or not EVIL exist.

So Trump has apparently been "talking to the AG" and is planning to make an additional statement tomorrow morning, 10am Eastern in the media is to be believed. I'd like to think Trump will support 2A rights, but I must admit that I'm not at all certain. Ugh.

One problem we face is that Americans who are scared become more willing to give up their rights to government. Look at what happened after 9/11. Americans allowed the government to flush privacy rights down the toilet. Three of these events inside of a week is going to cause people to become alarmed. I am almost afraid to watch the news.

To me the most aggravating thing to me is the Demorats squealing gun control! Even though the only real person to blame is the shooter, the Demorats hostile rhetoric towards our President isn't helping, they are consistantly backing the leftist Loonies that are out like Antifa, BLM, and other far left people, the Congress people talk about getting in the face of those they disagree with! I believe the hostility of the Demorats are partially responsible for the open violence that we are seeing!

It's not going to be pretty. I'm afraid that our 'supporters' in congress are more concerned with getting re-elected than they are about our rights. I will not be surprised to see 30.06 & .07 signs popping up all over.

The Dayton shooter and the El Paso shooter were on opposite ends of the ideological spectrum, but the Dayton shooter "liked" the social media posts describing the El Paso shooter's "work". They may have been political opposites, but they were psychiatric twins. Both of them were crazier than an outhouse rat.
