I've seen a knife attack when I was overseas in the Philippians. Pretty scary stuff and a machete is worse because of the swinging ability of the blade. Most people aren't prepared to react and simply stand there. Glad this guy got caught.

I worked on two patients who were attacked with machetes in Honduras while on medical missions. One had his hand amputated the other had the machete go through his nose and cheekbones. Both survived.
MS 13 is bad about chopping you to pieces with a machete.
