"When officers arrived, Ana Lilia Trujillo answered the door to a unit on the 18th floor. That's where they found the 59-year-old victim's body.

According to Houston police, the man was stabbed multiple times. The weapon investigators think she used: a stiletto heel.

Officers detained Trujillo and questioned her at the scene. They said she was initially cooperative, but she reportedly stopped speaking to investigators and was transported downtown for additional questioning.

Investigators said the victim lived in the apartment, but Trujillo did not and was visiting. Their relationship is unknown."

That is one sharp heel, if indeed it was used in the stabbing. I'm trying to picture someone walking in heels like that... :headscratch

I'll bet that guy never thought he would be saying to himself 'These heels are killing me!' :smilelol5:

I do. Then maybe my daughter won't spend so much on shoes.

Oh boy that's true. I'm glad my wife likes comfortable rather than fashion in her shoes.

When I saw the headline I was thinking of a real stiletto but those shoes must live up to the name.

A prosecutor says a Houston woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death with her stiletto heel had been drinking tequila with him at a nightclub earlier.

The trial started this week and it made it to the international news.

I was struck by how familiar this looks. Except for the shoe.

Apparently he bought her the shoes and they cost $1500 a pair.

I had dinner this evening with some friends, including one of the witnesses at this trial. She'd dated been dating the victim; said that the defense theory is total hogwash, and that he was a sweet, kind, gentle soul.

Will be interesting to see how the jury decides.
