Texas LEO

Seems to me many Texas LEO's are pretty straight shooters. Austin LEO shot nut at over 200 yards one handed and holding a couple of horses. Garland Cops shoot the terrorist with two shots, Waco cops shut down the gun battle with bikers.

Bring a whole new meaning to "don't mess with Texas"

Much better than the NY cops who injured 9 bystanders a while back.

Hitting your target ... that's what we Texans call gun control.

But then there is the Ft Worth PD....most of them can't shoot much better than needed to qualify. We had many come try IDPA and most were ummm near scary

Every time I hear about the Austin one, it gets further and further away. The most accepted report I've heard is 100 yards, and I'm betting that may even be a little exaggerated.

That Austin shot most likely was a lucky shot. I mean holding a horse, night time, long shot with hand gun. However the prep went down.

Not a lucky shot. Because of holdover necessary for that shot, would've missed low if untrained for handgun distance shooting. Lots of guys make that shot regularly at dpc. I couldn't though.

Better shot than me from 100 yards, one handed, holding a horse...

Did anyone mention the cop holding the horses who shot the guy single hand, weak side, at 500 yards?

I'm impressed he can hold two horses not to mention shooting accurately while doing so.
