Illegal Immigrant Accused of Shooting Houston Police Helicopter

One week ago when Tactical Flight Officer Knox and Senior Police Officer Chase Cormier mysteriously
crashed into the leasing office of a Houston apartment building, gunshots could be heard being fired into the air,
according to witnesses.

Now Josue Daniel Claros-Trajedo, a 19-year-old man who is believed to be an undocumented immigrant,
has been arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault on public servants for shooting
at the helicopter that was responding to Knox's crash. His bond has been set at $100,000.

He shot several times after Knox's HPD helicopter, 75-Fox, crashed, killing the tactical flight officer and injuring Cormier...

Yes, I saw that and wondered if he shot at the helicopter that crashed, not just the ones that came later.

If they determine he hit the aircraft then I would expect capital murder charges to be added... At least attempted capital murder now.
