WTS: Kimber Pro Carry II ss - Houston, Tx

#1

Post by htxred »

I have a Kimber Pro Carry II in stainless steel with NIGHT SIGHTS.. I am looking to sell. I bought it new in july 2007 from the gunshow and have since then put maybe 2k - 2.5k rnds through her. I polished the feed ramp and throat of the bbl, along with changed out the recoil spring at about 1200rnds to a 22lb wilson combat spring. Had its usually hickups at first, but now it is 100% reliable, i keep it bedside...

Looking to sell because 1. wife says i have too many, 2. i want to fund a different future project, and 3. we're moving apartments, it will satisfy the wife if she thinks im trying to free up cash. ;)

seen one, seem em all, but here is a picture anyways.

*minor cosmetic sractch next to the word "kimber" you can probably see it in the picture, you would actually have to look for it if i didnt mention it in person..*

it will come with the factory kimber mag, 2 kimber tac mags, 2 metalform rounded followers (not installed) box, and papers.

edit: new price

$700 ftf only

its like having a baby that is already poddy trained.. haha.

I'll be in Houston on business next week, what parts are you in? and I am in no way familiar with Houston, as I have only been a few times, I’ll be down town.

Any way I could shot it?

I have never fired a 4" 1911, and never fired a kimber.

Would you consider a trade? I have an H&K USP compact in 40 cal I may be willing to trade, would certainly let you shot it, I love it, but ready for a 1911.

I'll be in H-Town Monday late morning - Thursday evening. Aside from Monday lunch, I’ll be free in the late evenings.

i would certainly be willing to let you fire it when you have time. there is a closest shooting range i know of is either Top Gun in the galleria area or Marksman in south houston. I am not interested in any trades right now but if you are seriously interested, please drop me a PM with soem contact info. i live in memorial, right by the park so i am basically 5 or so minutes from downtow...

If you have a non-Kydex holster for it, I might be interested in moving some of my free cash into your pocket.
