I can help you out if you ever make it to Austin. But I have a way around the shipping charges for small orders. Turn a small order into a large order and then the shipping charges aren't so bad.

I hesitate to buy online because shipping charges are outrageous for small orders.
You've probably spent more for gas than you would have in just buying them online. For example, Midway USA has a set of 2 speed strips for $7, and the cheapest shipping option is just under $3.

Don't forget the $8 parking and $8 admission. We had to buy a bunch of stuff to offset that (especially since we went both days). That's $16 parking and $32 admission for the two of us.

Well, actually Midway has a surcharge for small orders.

I've been expecting Midway's Feb flyer to appear on their website anytime, since it usually posts on the 25th.

I always place an order then, so earlier I put a few of these in my cart.

I figured I could get them to you with no shipping.

Heck, I've probably got 3-4 unopened packages of speed strips around here if I could lay my hands on them.

I got mine at Carter's Country on Wilcrest at 59. They are often in the display case with the revolvers.
