Anyone seen or shot one of these? None of the stores in t he DFW area I have spoken seem to have one in stock or have an idea of how long it would take to order one. So if you know a dealer in the area that has one please let me know.

I've not shot the Night Train, but I owned the 100 ATR in .270WIN. I'm a small guy (5'10", 155lbs), but with significant rifling experience, and it tore me apart. If you're a stouter fella, then I'd say it'd be an alright rifle to shoot. The synthetic stock is pretty empty in terms of recoil absorbancy, and therefore, I was never a consistent shot. However, that's me. I've got a Remington 700 SPS Tactical in .223 that works well for me, and I have no problems shooting 1.5" groups at 100 yards.

If you will wait a little while, the '09 versions will be coming out with the LBA trigger-Mossbergs version of the Accu-Trigger.

You can read a press release about it on the Mossberg website under the "Media Center" tab, then press releases. I tried to copy & paste the link but that portion of the site is not working right now.

They also have pictures of the Night Train if you go through the list of rifles.

Night Train, to me, was always cheap chilled wine drunk by winos and college students... :cryin
