I bought this gun in 2003 or 2004...can't remember exactly.7075-T7 wrote:What year did you buy the pistol?
Does it feed HP as well as FMJ?
Biggest question, why are you selling it?
I didn't say I was going to switch to a glock for carry, but I would like to have a glock should my pps ever become inoperable. And, I just want one.RECIT wrote:Other than capacity I see no reason to switch to a Glock if you are happy with the PPS. I think the PPS would conceal better than any compact Glock in my opinion. I have both.
LOL...I made a similar statement a few weeks ago, before I bought my Kimber. I posted on this forum, asking for advice, and I also talked to a couple of my fellow firearm-enthusiast friends. One buddy in particular, kept bringing up the shortcomings of the 1911 in general for concealed carry (too big, too heavy, etc.). I finally got tired of arguing with him and said, "I want one because I want one!"dklag37 wrote: And, I just want one.![]()
I think it just has a slightly beefed up slide and removable sights. I'm not entirely sure but I'm pretty certain that's two things.propellerhead wrote:How different is this from the 92FS?
It also looks like it has Houge type grips where a 92FS has plain black plastic grips.JasonH wrote:I think it just has a slightly beefed up slide and removable sights. I'm not entirely sure but I'm pretty certain that's two things.propellerhead wrote:How different is this from the 92FS?
That is correct. The Brigadier models are fitted with a heavier slide that is stronger in the locking lug area, this reduces muzzle rise and speeds up follow up shoots. Except for the slide being heavier by about 60 g and 1 mm wider and having a removable front sight, the Beretta 92FS Brigadier is identical to the Beretta 92FS in its function.JasonH wrote:I think it just has a slightly beefed up slide and removable sights. I'd pay you cash for it this afternoon but being in Houston has ruined this one for me.dklag37 wrote:That is correct.
