Sent you one back... I just realized it was HighVelocity looking for a J-Frame pocket holster. Guess I got my posters confused. I also have a set of rubber wrap around grips that I got from someone who had cut the area for the extended safety. Not liking those too well and can send them your way to try if you would like to try them. First i need to make sure i can get the old grips back on without breaking them. They are cracked. I'm on my third set of tomcat gripsElGato wrote:I sent you a PM

Does anyone here have a Comp-Tac C-TAC for a Glock 19 that they wouldn't mind lending? I am unsure about purchasing one and would like to try one out first. I don't know if I would consider purchasing the used one; I'll probably rather buy a new one if I like it, but would appreciate the chance to test it. Thanks.

It's not a c-tac, but I have a COmp-Tac Shirt Tucker for the G19 that you welcome to try. It can be upgraed to the c-tac for $35. We have familyn in College Station and get there from time to time.
As far as a new or used Comp-tac, I've never been able to tell the difference. The ones I've seen just don't wear.

Glad to see you 2 get together & this working. My C-TAC went in a lone one for another & we just traded. I can let a leather set in the drawer as good as the CTAC. He liked it. I didnot & I like what I got better for a loaner at the range.
dws is right on the wear. you will not be able to tell I don't believe. Especially the way he cares for his stuff. My 2cents. Some think it worth about half that.

Reviving this a little... Maybe it should be sticky'd. In a recent thread from longtooth regarding his doctor's visit, there seems to be quite a few Tomcat fans here.
Elgato, I think we already discussed this, so you get first pick...
I have a set of Pierce wrap around grips for a Tomcat. Got them from someone on the Berettaforum and tried them for a while, they just don't fit my hand properly and I finally removed them. The grips have been cut to accommodate the extended safety version of the Tomcat (every Tomcat I have seen has been this style).
After Elgato, first come first served... No charge.

Need to revive this one for a while.
I just bought diode's 4" S&W 66. I need a holster for it but sure dont want to buy one that I dont like or rides so high that I cant draw the 4" pipe.
Does anyone have a holster they will loan for trial, or sell if it works. I have several that would be on the loan list as before.
Needs to be:
OWB, FBI cant or +, leather or plastic, Needs to be concealable but not a real Hideout. I will carry it hunting & on the street under a 5.11 vest.
All you revolver guys that do not have one in the drawer, give suggestions.
For the loans all freight on me. Thanks in advance.
