TAM, very well said indeed. I generally do not consider .223 for hunting large game when I have other calibers in my arsenal for that, so I often overlook that perspective.

Thanks for the info, I am going to try to keep the build under 800 for my first. I can get to know the weapon and my preferances. Later I can modify or sell for money towards my next build.

I find that parts build up rather than get sold, and it has worked out well for me doing that.

Your probably right, I never end up selling anything.
I have learned a lot about AR's in the last few days from the members on this forum in a language an AR newby can understand without having information overload swimming through all the information on AR15.com or M4carbine.net.
