WTB: .22 caliber entry "target" pistol
I'm seeking a long barrel (6-7.5") entry level .22LR semi-auto target pistol.
Something like Browning's Buck Mark or similar Ruger or major brand. Doesn't have to be like new, but I'm looking for a firearm in good shape, 8/10 or better.
I'm local to Austin, TX, but can travel within 200 miles or so if you live near a small airport.
Cash, of course.. I'd like pricing similar to Gun Broker or private party sale on Auction Arms.
Send me a PM

Re: WTB: .22 caliber entry "target" pistol
I bought a Beretta Neos at Academy about 2 months ago and I think I paid $249 new for it. It has a 6" barrel and it is a tack driver. Very little recoil. I was shooting the cheapo ammo in it and did not have one malfunction (200 rounds). I had read how difficult the Ruger and to a lesser degree, the Browning were to field strip. The Beretta is very simple to take apart and reassemble.

+1 for the Neos. While I absolutely love my 22/45, one of my ex-girlfriends had a little Neos and it was comparable to shoot and WAY easier to break down and clean.

Ruger Mark III 22/45 at Academy was $350 when I bought mine 2 years ago.

Thanks.. I've seen the neos - it's definitely a modern look... Easier to clean and shoots well, I'll probably just go that way..

I have a Buckmark Camper Stainless model that I don't shoot too often that I'd be willing to part with. It's a bull barrel I believe, but I don't think it's 6". I am in Houston. If you are interested, PM me.
I think most of the Buckmarks are 5.5" bbl.

Warning! Don't pick up the Ruger while at the store. It Will follow you home.
