Dave,

Glad to see your guns sold quickly. I wish I could have gotten my hands on one of them. Still praying for you.

Thoughts on CHL Carry - I'd rather have it and not need it, then need it and not have it!

Thanks for the thoughts guys, we (my wife and myself) appreciate it.

Guess things are getting progressively worse, this morning I got out of bed not being able to feel either foot. I can walk, but don't have much feeling below the waist except for a burning pins and needles sensation.

EMG test on Monday to see where the nerve compression is and how severe it is. Apparently, the last two back surgeries and 5 spinal injections have only made the problem worse.

We're hanging in there.... one day at a time is my new motto ! "rlol"

Once again, my thanks to everyone for your thoughts, concern and prayers.

All the guns I want to sell at this time have been sold, and all delivered except for one.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet many of you through gun sales/purchases and trades. The additional members that my wife and I had an opportunity to meet this week once again confirmed our belief that the folks on Texas CHL Forum are some of the best around.

I've retained three Kimbers, a Sig, a Glock, and my trusty old revolvers. The gun safe looks a little bare tonight, but I know that each gun that left this week went to a good home and to owners that will take care of them.

More medical testing begins Monday morning, we will continue to pray that there will be answers and a plan of action that will work.

I'm new to these forums, but just wanted to stop by to share the same sentiments as everyone else.
I hope everything will be ok. :patriot:

Thanks egonpax, and everyone else for your thoughts and prayers.

As an update, my pain management doctor has sent all the required testing results and paperwork off to both St. Judes and my insurance company for final approval to have a neuro-stimulator implanted as a pain management device. Keeping my fingers crossed !

Wow, Dave....I'm so sorry to hear all you've been through.
Cancer is an evil, evil beast, that comes in many forms. Unfortunately, I know this from personal experience since it has affected someone I love very dearly.
Prayers to you and your family for good news from St Jude's, and for continued strength to keep up the fight.

Dave,
Even though we haven't met I wanted to thank you for your service and say that I'm sorry for your situation. However, I have to admire your attitude and you seem to still have a good sense of humor so that is a blessing to you and your family. I've read that some people have had good success with the neuro-stimulator so I'll pray that provides some relief. Sorry to hear that you had to let some of your collection go but I think you'll agree that when it comes down to it, all that really matters is family and health... everything else is just stuff. I know the forum is pulling for you. :patriot:
