Selling my S&W 629-1 The pictures shows you how clean this gun is. It locks up really tight. The timing is excellent. Mostly .44 specials down range. Beautiful gun and great history. Please no trades. S&W N Frame with three screws. Stainless, target trigger, target hammer and target grips. Manufactured about 1982 when they eliminated the recessed cylinder and pinned barrel. Front sight is red ramp. It is the model 29 just in stainless. $1,400.00.
I have a few more pictures, but they will not upload if you need more pictures just email me.

IMHO, that is almost too cheap. People who know S&W know what you have there. They are quickly disappearing into gun collections. A -1 with recessed cylinder and pinned barrel get's a premium price. I had a pair of Model 29-2's that were consecutive serial numbers and the pair got me 3600 on Gun Broker. I wish I had the money to buy it but things are tight for me.carlson1 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 3:16 pm Selling my S&W 629-1 The pictures shows you how clean this gun is. It locks up really tight. It probably is too low. I would rather pull teeth than sell guns especially my revolvers. My doctor bills are adding up though. I had order a new BiPap today. Pay a deductible's today and then have to pay a deductible again in January because for the first year my insurance will only rent it.

I understand completely. I have a similar financial situation for different reasons. I have sold many of my favorite guns over the past couple years and I miss every one of them like an old friend. Things will turn around for you.carlson1 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 6:05 pm It probably is too low. I would rather pull teeth than sell guns especially my revolvers.
