I have a PF-9 that is just collecting dust. I purchased it back in September of last year and put about 200 rounds through it when I noticed that it was having the "walking ejector pin" problem. I sent it back to the factory to have the frame upgraded and while it was away, I ran across a deal on a Kahr PM9. I like to pocket carry when possible and the Kel-Tec is just a little too long for the pockets I have...

The factory modified the magazine to reduce wear on the magazine release button and I touched up the feed ramp with a dremel but I never got around to shooting it. I had planned on letting my wife use it, but she prefers a revolver.

Since it's such a low cost gun to begin with, shipping it through an FFL probably isn't going to be cost effective so I'm only looking for a face to face sale in Houston.

I paid $299 plus tax from Top Gun. I'll let this go for $225.

Also, this is the Black/Blued model, it's not parkerized.

I think he meant since it went back to the factory, had replacements. Heck, maybe a new gun from KT. Anyway you look at it, that is a bargain. I'd buy it if I did not already own one. Makes a fine BUG as well, or maybe a CCW for the wife.

Original gun had 200 rounds through it. The one I got back from Kel-tec was %100 brand new with the exception of the mag which they made a slight modification to.

The grip, frame, slide, barrel, trigger was definitely all replaced. They really just stamped my original serial number on a brand new gun. The one I sent them had the feed ramp polished and the burrs removed off of the plastic grip and trigger guard. The one I got back had all the plastic mold marks and machining marks on the barrel...

I really intended to keep it so I went ahead and polished up the feed ramp and cleaned up the grip again, but the PM9 just fits in my pockets better. The little bit of difference in the length of the two guns made a big difference in how they pocket carry for me.

I never got around to taking it back out to the range, but I can say that the original one I had was more accurate than the PM9 I now carry. I'm sure it's just a technique issue but the PF-9 was more accurate and had less felt recoil to me than the PM9. I really like the gun, but I can't justify letting it collect dust in the cabinet. I'm working on my pilot's license now so I'm clearing house a little bit to fund that hobby.
