5.56 "Fat 50" Ammo Cans
The title says it all! I have 120 ready to ship out. If you want some the very good condition ones they are $13.00 a piece and the ones in good condition but have more than a little writing on them (ie: "signal flares" etc) with a marker are $11.00. These go for $18 or more elsewhere so this is a good deal. None are muddy and NO RUSTY CANS! The paint is nice and dark and the yellow labels painted on the side are good and clear. The measurements on the can are 12 in. x 7 in. x 8½ in. Finally a lot of these cans have a strip of red reflective tape on the side but it doesn't effect the can sealing or anything like that.
As always I ship on USPS parcel post with delivery confirmation and you only pay my shipping fees. I don't make money on shipping.

Just so everyone is sure even though the title says "5.56" I'm getting some people asking about .50 cal cans. These are called fat 50s becuase of the size not what they hold. Below is a link to more details on fat 50 cans but I just wanted to add this incase some weren't sure what I had.

Did somebody win a DRMO auction?
This is a great price folks! I'd buy more if I didn't have a ton already!

Greg, we're quite happy with the ones we got. They're in excellent condition.

Out of curiosity, what are you guys using these for?

I use a "fat 50" for soaking guns and parts in what I call an "Ed's Red Bath." Here's a short article and photos. https://www.texasfirearmscoalition.com/ ... ow-to-tips" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;baldeagle wrote:Out of curiosity, what are you guys using these for?

I store ammo in 'em.

Pack 'em, drop in a dessicant, and seal 'em. Good to go.

Re: 5.56 "Fat 50" Ammo Cans
I have thousands of rounds of ammo and keep a certain amount in smaller ammo cans that I take with me when I go to the range. The rest of the ammo I keep in the larger cans (still in their boxes). I used to just keep it stacked in cardboard boxes but the ammo cans are sturdier and have handles in case I have to move it.
