WTS Marlin 1894C .357mag - SOLD

#1

Post by AEA »

I have a Marlin 1894C .357mag rifle, made in 1981 in "as-new" condition. The wood and fit/finish of this rifle is far superior to any of the latest models.

I have only the rifle and a Plano plastic gun case. No paperwork other than my receipt where I paid (too much) for it on Gunsamerica.

It is the model with the gold plated trigger that was made only between 1979-1982 (S/N 19174XXX). It does not have the dreaded cross bolt safety (which was introduced in 1984). It has the Micro-Groove barrel.

I have made two modifications to this rifle (both are reversible if desired).
1. Replaced the factory two piece firing pin with a single piece tool steel firing pin.
2. Replaced the factory rear sight with a Marbles flip adjustable windage/elevation sight.
Both of these can be returned to factory if desired as the factory parts will be with the rifle.

North Texas FTF only. I will not ship. This means McKinney or Denton areas. I am in Sherman.

Asking $550.00
