Streamlight Strion

Looking for a tac light to go with my XD 40 Service. I have always used Streamlight and I really like the Strion. I was wondering the the tactical version with the rail mount would work on the XD (since it has the rails). The light is the same size just comes with the rail mount. I am also going to use the light for work so it can't be a fixed light on the gun.

I would trust no other light on the rail of my XD40 when it is tucked away in my bedside table. 2+ years of use (both at home and while hog hunting at the ranch) and not one second of trouble. If you feel a laser is necessary ( ), try the TLR-2.

I would get that and I might save that for my sig 220. I just want a light for my gun and can double as a regular flashlight. Not nessasarily a mounted light just a small one I can hold and use with my XD.
