I did it and also posted Chas. letter and links on a forum I moderate. Hope it moves Perry to act.

Any news on this front? Is there still hope for seeing these issues added to a special seesion, or has our clock run out?Charles L. Cotton wrote:Thanks for responding to this call folks, it is having an impact. I can't say more now, but trust me -- I'm a lawyer.

Thanks Charles. If a "round 2" is necessary, I'm sure we can make that happen.Charles L. Cotton wrote:I hope to find out more today, but that's not guaranteed.TrueFlog wrote:Any news on this front? Re: Letter to Governor Rick Perry
The push for campus carry was mentioned on the radio this morning. I'm not sure if that should give hope or not.

I'm thinking once a general progun issue is placed on the agenda, then the box has been opened.TexasCajun wrote:The push for campus carry was mentioned on the radio this morning. I'm not sure if that should give hope or not.

Here's a poll on campus carry.

I agree with the sentiment that this is a test for Perry on the issue.

Re: Letter to Governor Rick Perry
I should send a letter regarding the requirements of business posting the 30.06. All it says right now is the sign must be posted in a conspicuous manner clearly visible to the public. It should be added that the 30.06 must be posted at ANY and ALL public entrances.

No, you should forget about it and spend your money where it (and your presence with your legally carried firearm) is welcome!nightmare69 wrote:I should send a letter regarding the requirements of business posting the 30.06.
