Been wearing a horse hide with internal stiffener every day for over 3 years.
Been thinking of getting one from Tucker to match the HF1 I have plus the internal stiffener sometimes is not fun to thread onto the HF1.

In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law to pursue a natural justice.

i have a latigo canyon from tucker gunleather you wont need the stiffener ...fine quality belts..but if your trying to match the color of your holster perfectly go with one of his regular gunbelts....

Normally, yes but the Ares belts specifically, are measured differently and that's why I wondered. (Beltman, AG, etc use the "correct" method. )carlson1 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 10, 2018 9:42 pm Here is a good guide to measuring.

My favorite edc I have to admit is an elephant hide from beltman .a little pricey but well worth the money
Re: Good EDC belt??
I agree with brucesw2. Spend the money on the beltman in elephant and you won't regret it. I've had mine about two years and it still looks brand new. Improves the draw for both IWB abd OWB.

Re: Good EDC belt??
I've used Tucker Gunleather belts for a few years. They hold up well & last a really long time. My issue is that since I started carrying, I've added quite a few pounds and then recently lost that & then some. So I've given away my fatboy Tucker & got 2 Blade-Tech Ultimate Carry belts (went with both the leather and nylon versions). I've come to appreciate the finer adjustments that you can make for fit with the ratchet belt system, but without the belt slowly loosening up throughout the day - which was my main gripe with the 5.11 nylon belt.
