I have a friend who carries a G19 with an in-waistband holster; once I receive my CHL, I'll be looking to do the same, but I'm carrying a Beretta 92. I found a bunch of hi-rise holsters, but no in-waistband holsters that expressly state they fit the gun. I realize it's a larger gun, and my initial choice was for a shoulder holster, but after seeing how concealed his can be and how easy it is to live with, I'm tempted.
Are there any IWB holsters for the Beretta 92 that are worth the money, or should I just get a smaller gun?
*edit* found one at Bladetech that looks promising, and these at Black Hills Leather.
They seem equally customizable, any user recommendations?

2 best kydex holsters on the market. Either will serve you well.

Carry 24-7 or guess right.

Galco sells a Middle of the Back Holster for the 92. So do these folks. Hope that helps.

I prefer full-sized guns myself, and would enthusiastically recommend the Don Hume PCCH IWB for the Beretta 92.
I use this holster for my CZ 75s (which fit nicely) and it's my most comfortable carry rig. I like them so much I've got 4 more on order for other guns. They conceal very well, especially with a good gun belt. They’re very reasonably priced, and the workmanship is excellent; delivery time is about 5 weeks, which is much shorter than the usual for custom holsters.
You can order them directly through the Hume website, or at a discount through http://www.gunnersalley.com.

Re: Beretta 92 as a carry
I carry a 92 Centurion.
There are many great holsters. A few of my favorites, all IWB.
The Galco summer heat (or something like that). Nice leather IWB, comfortable and stable.
Comptac - Gurkha and C-TAC. Both work fine. Each a little different but work.
Bladetech - IWB. First one I used, worked fine but I considered the others an upgrade.
Do not feel like you need a smaller gun. If you ever need any gun, you would want it to be a 92. Do not compromise. Just find the right holster. The 4 above work. Most of the time it is the Galco.
