Glock 19 Iwb Holster question
looking for any opinions for an iwb holster specifically for Glock 19. don't mind paying for quality, and it seems a lot of companies have loooong wait times, is that normal? like everyone else i'd like to have mine right away. the glock store has been telling me "next monday" for the last for mondays so i just cancelled and am moving on. thanks in advance. it was the "worlds greatest holster" or something...

If you walked into Wal-Mart and all the shelves were empty, you'd walk right back out again but you can't see the shelves of an internet store and many don't order product from the manufacturer until you order it from them. Any decent dealer can give you a an infinite choice (right, left, tan, black, havana brown, ankle, shoulder, belt, IWB et al) for a gun as popular as the G19.glockowner wrote:looking for any opinions for an iwb holster specifically for Glock 19. don't mind paying for quality, and it seems a lot of companies have loooong wait times, is that normal? like everyone else i'd like to have mine right away. the glock store has been telling me "next monday" for the last for mondays so i just cancelled and am moving on. thanks in advance. it was the "worlds greatest holster" or something...
I looked up your "world's greatest holster" and was very surprised at the prices. You can buy a Galco Royal Guard wet-molded, form fitted horsehide holster for a lot less ($95.96) than that.
Why don't you just call or email holster dealers and get confirmation that they have holsters in stock before placing an order?

I use an HBE Leatherworks Com3 by Eric Larson for my G19. I couldn't be happier with it. Here's some pics:
Perfect retention...
Here's how I wear it...
Eric had mine out to me in about a week and my brother-in-law just got one for his snubby in about the same time frame. Here's his website: http://www.hbeleatherworks.com/
If you like the looks of mine and want one just like it, just tell him you want it made like the one for Albert from Cibolo.
Good luck to you.

I love my Comp-Tac Infidel holsters, and in my experience, my Comp-Tac orders are usually delivered in under a week.glockowner wrote:looking for any opinions for an iwb holster specifically for Glock 19. don't mind paying for quality, and it seems a lot of companies have loooong wait times, is that normal? like everyone else i'd like to have mine right away. the glock store has been telling me "next monday" for the last for mondays so i just cancelled and am moving on. thanks in advance. it was the "worlds greatest holster" or something...

DM Bullard makes a good set of holsters and they have some items in stock. My recent order was shipped the very next day.
The Dual Carry for Glock can take all of the 9/.40/.357 models.
And they are made in Texas by a Texan!

At the very top of the menu under Dat To Day there is a holster resourse that will show you some of the best holsters made. The long time top of the line holsters will have a lead time of 6-8 months & a few a year. these are really good holsters. Others are newer makers that have jsut as good a product w/ less lead time.
Carry 24-7 or guess right.

Re: Glock 19 Iwb Holster question
I refuse to wait for more than 4 weeks. There are very few retail items people wait that long for, if the company cannot provide the product in a timely manner another business will. Comp-Tac and Cross Breed will make it for you and you will still get it within a couple weeks (which is reasonable) and those are quality holsters. I cannot fathom why someone would wait 1-7 months for a holster. Even waiting for quality will eventually catch up to those companies. The market will correct and some other business will provide equal quality at a faster production time and either force the other company to speed up or it will put them out if business. There are numerous holster makers (yes, even quality ones) and the market is not that difficult to enter.

My wait time just went down to about 3-4 weeks if you want to check them out. http://www.nm-holsters.com/ If you don't like what you see on my site check Nate at UBG holsters, he can make you a fine holster also.glockowner wrote:looking for any opinions for an iwb holster specifically for Glock 19. don't mind paying for quality, and it seems a lot of companies have loooong wait times, is that normal? like everyone else i'd like to have mine right away. the glock store has been telling me "next monday" for the last for mondays so i just cancelled and am moving on. thanks in advance. it was the "worlds greatest holster" or something...
