I had purchased night site for my XD-9SC carry piece and was very hesitant in getting them installed on the slide due to the reputation they have of being so hard to take the old ones off and the new one in its place.
Well I went to the DFW Gun range on Mockingbird west of I35 and asked Joe, the assistant manager/master gunsmith if he could install the sites and how much would it cost?
He took the little XD and the sites back into their shop and was back within 5 minutes.
Not a single scratch in the gun, and they were dead on, I tried them right there and then (not recommended I hear)
The sites are mepro's green/green they are about 85 bucks and the install was only $20 plus tip
I highly recommend Joe for your gunsmithing needs around the DFW
