Any recommendations on after-market grips to put on a Glock 23?

Thanks!

I have the Hogue Handall on all my Glocks. They are especially good for hot weather and sweaty hands.

The A-Grip stuff looks cool, but I've never tried it. I have the Hogue as well. I have a suggestion on what NOT to do. We were using truck bed liner paint to paint the inside of a friends jeep, and he had this BRILLIANT idea. You can probably tell where I'm going with this.... Yeah, he did it. He painted the grip of his Glock 22 with bed liner paint. Honestly, it doesn't look all that bad, but I don't find it comfortable at all. The chunks of whatever it is in the paint are too big.

I use A-Grip, and really like it:

Tru-grip is really good stuff. I use it on my IDPA gun and have definitely seen an improved grip. It is inexpensive and you receive three sets in each order. This stuff would not be good to carry against your skin.

I used A-Grip on my Styer in competion for years. It is great, improves the grip, warm in the winter, and cool in the summer. I quit using it becase I don't need it on the M&P I switched to.

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish, but you might try a grip reduction and covering by Dale Hunnicut. A lot of people really like them. DMG.

I recently put AGrip on my Glock 23 and love it. It feels like suede. The biggest advantage is when wearing it IWB, it doesn't irritate my flank as the factory grip does.

My favorite is the bicycle innertube. It gave the best grip-for me. You can cut it exactly how you want it and it doesn't add as much bulk.

I make my own grip enhancers. I purchased a sheet of skateboard tape (big enough to cover the entire surface of a skateboard. and I create templates from semi-transparent food container lids. (Yoghurt, nut cans, coffee cans, whatever is somewhat see-thru). I put the plastic over the grip and draw on one side with a permanent marker. Then get the scissors and cut the template until it is right. Use the template to cut the skateboard tape.

Save the template for when you need to replace the tape. So far I haven't had to replace the tape.

Before applying to the handle I clean the handle with an alcohol wipe and let it dry thoroughly.

i second the bicycle inner tube idea. it has worked well on my g23. you can rough it up with coarse sandpaper though it is not absolutely necessary.
