Received my BrigadegunLeather IWB holster today. (PICS)

Finally after 7 months I received my IWB holster (M-11) today. When I ordered the holster they only had a 16 week lead time which grew to 35 weeks during my wait. I will post pictures later but I am really impressed with the holster. Brigade was one of the few Holster manufacturers that actually made an IWB for a Baby Eagle .45. At the moment I am trying to stretch the holster just a bit as it is really tight. I am looking forward to wearing this baby and getting in broken in. This is my first IWB as I usually carry in a fanny pack (very convenient). Sorry for the poor quality of pictures, I am not that great of a photographer. I went to cabela's today and bought a brown double duty belt with a brass buckle. The belt is normally 39.95 and they had it on sale for 12.95. I would have bought a couple more but that was the last one in my size.

7 months, man you are patient. I wouldn't wait 7 weeks much less than 7 months.

:iagree: That is patient.

Didn't you try any other brand of IWB holster during the wait?

Just curious, but what kind of fanny pack did you use, as I have been thinking about getting one.

Brigade is at the top of my list, without a doubt. Only problem - I'm not willing to wait NEARLY that long. I read one guy waited just over 12 months to get his from the time he placed his order. That's just insane. His holsters look incredible though...

Brigades western gun holsters have an 18 month lead time, not what is long. Anyway like I said when I ordered it it was only supposed to be 16 weeks. I was getting ready to take some pictures when I discovered the batteries are dead in the digital camera. Guess I have to make a battery run tomorrow.

My fanny pack was made by Anderson Enterprises, I picked it up a long time ago at a gun show in Fort Worth. It is extremely durable and conceals a large frame handgun easily with additional room for two magazines, IPOD, Cell phone and whatever. I will post a pic of it tomorrow. What I like about it is that it doesn't look like a fanny pack that is carrying a gun. It really comes in handy when I am bike riding at the park or just out walking. I am past the age where I care what anyone thinks anymore, unless it is my son or wife.

Tommy's Gun Pack is a popular fanny pack and they routinely offer sales with deep discounts. The last sale was July 4th when they had them as low as $12 after all possible discounts. They sell a few other items and many bags that may be of interest.

If I was guessing, I would expect a sale around Labor Day.

I love my holster and would gladly wait 35 weeks for another one. It is extremely comfortable and seems to be breaking in nicely. I love the fact that it comes with loops and not clips. The holster stays put and so far I have had no problem with it dragging my pants down, weight is distributed nicely.

I bet that sharkskin is going to look really nice. Make sure you post some pics when you get it, it will be worth the wait.

Don't.

Good holsters always start off tight and that's good. A loose fitting new holster isn't going to magically tighten up next Thursday morning but a tight holster will relax to an optimum fit with the gun left in it for a day. "Working" the leather or treating with leather oils and greases will produce a nice, soft leather sock but socks aren't much good for carrying guns.

Wearing it and using it is the best way to condition a new holster.

Well....I ordered my Brigade holster Feb 28th and its now Jan 6th. I called Brigade and was told it would be about 2 weeks...AGAIN...I was told 2 weeks in November too.
If it wasn't such a beautiful holster I would tell them to pack sand. I'll post pictures when and if it ever shows up. I had another one I gave to my brother and I loved it. :cryin
It didn't take near this long!

Sweet holster.

I waited about 5 months for my VM2. A good IWB holster is worth the wait.
