Help me find a Maxpedition dealer
I am looking to find a Maxpedition dealer in the vacinity of NW Houston (Cypress area) or along the I-45 corridor between Houston and Conroe. If anyone knows of a stocking dealer in this area, I would appreciate their info!

Re: Help me find a Maxpedition dealer
Have you tried the "find a retailer" tab on http://www.maxpedition.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;?

Here is a place that is located in Shiloh shooting range. I got this info from another forum that I frequent.

Re: Help me find a Maxpedition dealer
I put in a couple of different zip codes in the Dallas area and used the 100 mile range with no results. I put in Texas and it showed several stores around Dallas.
Sorry to hear you found nothing in your area.

Re: Help me find a Maxpedition dealer
They're listed as a dealer on Maxpedition's website, but without a full address (just Houston, TX). And the website link provided didn't work for me, either. Thanks for the info. This one may just be do-able.bonehead1185 wrote:Here is a place that is located in Shiloh shooting range. I got this info from another forum that I frequent.

Isn't the owner a member here? Or used to be?
ETA: The link provided on Maxpedition's website didn't work. Yours worked just fine.

Re: Help me find a Maxpedition dealer
TX Tactical Source has Maxpedition gear in-stock, including the Fatboy Versipack and universal CCW holster I am looking for, so I will try to stop by there tomorrow afternoon. I'll give my impressions of the company early next week.
By the way, their website should be http://txtacticalsource.com/index.php. More and better information through this (presumably) newer portal.

Not a local dealer but L.A. Police Gear has plenty in stock. They are good to deal with, ship quick & have a hassle free return policy.

Re: Help me find a Maxpedition dealer
Thanks, Barron76, but my intention was to keep my money local, pay cash instead of using a CC, and have it in my hands on Friday instead of waiting for and hoping to catch a shipment. I could get the gear cheaper at OpticsPlanet.net, but cheaper isn't always better.

Re: Help me find a Maxpedition dealer
I did get to stop by TX Tactical Source on Friday afternoon, as XD9 indicated. XD9 was not there, so I did not get the opportunity to meet him and shake his hand, but the staff there was very friendly and helpful. A lady named Jessica helped me out. When I mentioned the forum, she said that XD9 had told them to expect someone from the forum to drop by and to give the discount that he graciously offered to us. I had no problems getting the discount. Jessica let me open up just about every nook and cranny of the Fatboy they had on display, then we realized that the display was an S-type (lefthanded), so she went back to the storeroom to get a regular Fatboy for me to check out.
My only complaint was that I didn't have more time to look around and maybe even check out the Shiloh Shooting Range, but I had an appointment to keep
.
I'll make a new thread with a review of the Fatboy once I've used it for a while.
