Roger that, check out a Com Tac Minotaur or a crossbreed supertuck (Minotaur will be a few days faster and about a buck or two more....)

also, check out http://www.tuckergunleather.com he makes FANTASTIC holsters in TEXAS (like Comp Tac)

Personally, I use a CompTac CTAC for my G19. More info here:

On the Comp-Tac website, there is a demostration series of photograps where three images are shown in progression. The last of the three show what the Minotaur MTAC Holster looks like with one's shirt tucked in. The belt clips are rather obvious. Could there be an issue with this meeting a strict interpretation of "concealed"?

I use a Hastae IWB/OWB combo holster with leather loops, custom made from http://littlebearholsters.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There are some photos of some of his stuff here:

It has to be said - Dave is much better at making holsters than he is at designing a website. I would definitely give it a try.

Belt clips are not a concealed handgun. I believe it is safe to say that most reasonable people (reasonable as the law considers) would have no idea what the clips would be for.

The clips are not legally a problem. However, I do not like to advertise the presence of anything under my shirt or belt, so I use the "V-" clips (carried by CompTac) with my Comp-Tac CTAC holster. The V-clip goes over the top edge of the pants, UNDER the belt, and stops -- it does not hook under the bottom edge of the belt like a J-clip does. Instead, there is a piece of hook velcro on the part of the V-clip facing the back of the belt. You super-glue or stitch a loop portion of velcro onto the back of the belt in appropriate locations, and the two mesh. Thus the clips do not show outside of the belt, and I think it is a MUCH more solid mounting than either the C-clips (which are way too obvious for me) or the J-clips. Doesn't really matter how wide your belt is (it has to be "wide enough" for its own stability), you don't have to match C- or J- Clips to belt width (e.g. 1.5 inch, 1.25, 1.75 etc).

It requires a little more work on your part initially -- you have to attach velcro to the inside of the belt - but is is not that big of a deal. I have done it to several belts for different occasions. Occasionally (like every five or six months) the glued velcro starts coming loose, so I reglue it. If you can clamp to the velcro to the belt while the glue is drying, that's good, but I usually just use my thumb for 20 seconds or so until the glue sets. Been wearing a CTAC with a Hi Power in it, using V-clips, for couple years now and it has worked very well.

If you go this route, one hint. Instead of trying to position two small pieces of loop velcro to match exactly where your holster's clips will ride, get a long section of the loop Velcro, say 18 inches, and attach it to the inside of the belt to cover the entire likely range of attachment (say from 2 o'clock to 5 o'clock). Your holster position is likely to vary a bit due to the position of belt loops on different pairs of pants, and after wearing your holster for awhile, you may decided you want to move it forward or backward. A long piece of velcro inside your belt makes this easy.

Just to complicate things a bit more, go over to the Warriortalk.com forums and do a search on "appendix" (as in appendix carry) and G-19. You will get some other ideas there.

good luck!
