Just Got It - Crossbreed Supertuck

Yes, it's "ugly" (beauty if definitely in the eye of the beholder) but WOW it sure is COMFY! At least that's my report after wearing it for a few hours. My Glock 17 is residing in it. Haven't done any tweaking, adjusting, etc., just slipped it on and put the Glock in. Draw seems easy enough, yet the retention seems firm enough to keep it from accidentally releasing.

I love my Supertuck. I carry a 4 inch 1911 in it all day with no problems at all.

Got mine for my XDM 40 yesterday. Put the J hooks on, and I am very surprised with its comfort. I've been carrying one of my LCPs in my pocket, so it's an adjustment.

It is SUPER comfortable!

I've worn mine just over a week, it's working good so far (but not perfect), did one adjustment (one notch) to give the pistol more cant. I'm not entirely sold on it yet, but I do like it so far, I'm gonna give it another week or so (well, actually it will be setting for a bit, heading to WI soon for business) to reserve final judgement. The best placement for the holster when I'm standing (for comfort and concealment) is 2:45/3:00...however, when I sit down, it doesn't work (digs into my leg/thigh) at that position. Granted, everyone has a different body type, I realize that, I also tend to sit splayed and I'm a large guy (6' & 312 lbs) so that plays into it. The compromise so far has been 3:15/3:30 or so. I'm not complaining, just giving feedback.

I have carried a PT145 in a Supertuck for about 6 month. Very comfortable. I did have to trim the lower front corner (right hand model) on mine. It started to bend out when I was sitting down. A simple fix! :txflag:

Recieved my supertuck about a week and a half ago for my Sig P 250
started wearing it about the 330 position,it prints there when I bend over so I adj it today to the 315 postion and it doesn't print there although it digs in a little more, I will give it a week there before I trim it. IOne of the best features of the holster is it is trimable by the user since it is not stitched around the edge. I have it set to the full fad cant. Waiting on the crossbreed belt with the Velcro sewn in, for now using the STD metal clips.

I have the supertuck, but can't use it with the pants I normally wear (5.11 tactical).
I'm sure it would work better with regular jeans.

However, I did buy a mini-tuck and it works great with the 5.11 pants.

I'm, a lefty, so I wear it at 8:00 or so - pretty much behind my hip
but not behind my spine.
I have to make sure and keep the mini-tuck more upright. Since
it only has one clip it wants to rock forward under the weight of
my S&W SW99.

I'm only a couple of weeks into my chl, so I have a lot of trial-and-error
ahead of me, I'm sure. So far, though, these are "keepers."

I'm finding the same thing as far as positioning... I'm 6'2"/285 lbs and also like it a little behind my hip 3:30ish and it works better. Still super comfortable.

Just got mine in 2 days ago, I like it best at 3:00. I can sit, move etc and my wife didn't see my XD 40 Service till I bent and twisted.

I was very surprised to receive my horsehide for my XDM in exactly 1 week. They must be able to stay ahead now with their new popularity.

Tom Gresham loves them and pushes them big on his show.

It's great, especially when you want to carry more than a LCP, which is what I carry most of the time.

You'll probably want to adjust the canter and ride height depending on how the default placement fits you. Did you get the J-clips? They're more concealable, and were easy to put on.
