New Holster

#1

Post by 7075-T7 »

Just got this for my b-day, I ordered it in january and it was worth the wait!

Belt is from Beltman in shark

Holster is from http://www.secretsquirrelleather.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; in Shark trimmed with Horback Alligator

I highly recommend the holsters from Secret Squirrel if you're looking for exotics, most comfortable holster I've worn! :thumbs2:

Happy Birthday and Congratulations on your new rig. Mine is coming up soon. Maybe I need to buy myself a present.

BTW, which model did you order?

Barkley does a great job at making holsters. You definitely made a good choice there.

Where did you get the snakewood grips from?

I got the Roadkill Squirrel IWB and the single 1911 mag pouch, both in full shark trimmed with Alligator, at 10deg cant. ;-)

I definately think you need to get yourself a present! A holster is the perfect self-gift :fire

I got them from thefinergrain.com special order, I had some issues with another set he made for my P238 and I only got 60% back for what I paid... so I'm not to thrilled with him at the moment. YMMV

At K&D Holsters, I'm going to be offering custom wood grips, to include the 1911's, bobtail 1911, SIG P238, and the Para Carry 9. We'll also be able to offer genuine ivory. I have the actual gun frames for all of those, so we'll be able to ensure proper fit.

Hopefully your P238 grips are of higher quality and that you stand behind them :grumble /rant

I saw you make Wallets as well, what leathers do you work with?

The interiors of the wallets are kangaroo - very soft and supple. The exteriors can be any variety of leather or exotic skins. We've made them with the alligator, hippo, and elephant. We can also offer shark, stingray and ostrich.
