Need holster ideas

I need holster ideas or comments, links to retailers would really help. I am looking for, in order of importance...

1) a descent IWB for a S&W 19-5, 2 1/2"; trying to stay away from anything that has a metal clip right next to the cylinder

2) a high rise OWB for a S&W 4006, the higher it rides the better

and...

3) a high rise OWB for a CZ75B, again the higher it rides the better

I was looking for an Old World Three Slot holster by Micheals of Oregon (Uncle Mike's???) for #2 and #3, but haven't had any luck with a i-net search for them.

Trying not to take out a loan for a holster, but I'm willing to pay for a good holster. Any ideas, links, or personal experience would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Fist OWB. I would buy another one without hesitation.

I have a Don Hume JIT Slide. I WOULD NOT buy another one. It doesn't hold the gun in tight to the body. (It sits in the holster box)

I have a Hoffner Hybrid IWB. I use it, it works, but I don't like it. I wouldn't buy another one. (I use it because I paid $70 for it)

I have a Crossbreed IWB that I like alot, now. It had to go back for some free modification. I could not grasp the butt of my Glock to draw it at first. If you order one, be sure to ask for "Full grip, combat draw". It is light, holds the gun secure and is very comfortable. I would buy another one!

I have an Uncle Mikes Kydex IWB ($14.95). ICK!! I never wore it outside the house. It's in the bottom of the holster box!! To get an idea. Take one of the retangular tins of gormet coffee, let your belt out 3 notches and wedge it inside the waistband. I wouldn't take one as a free gift.

I have 2 Galco M7X Matrix OWB holsters. ($20, Kydex). They hold the gun in tight to the body and are comfortable. The problem is you may have to use a heatgun to loosen it up enough to draw. They are riveted together without adjustable tension. I could not draw from either of them!! Since I worked them over with the heatgun, I can draw but they are still very tight. Great cheap holster, "some assembly required". I would buy another one. I'ld pay $25 in a heart beat, if they would make them with a tension adjustment.

Remember, you have to have a good gunbelt no matter what holster you choose.

I've got a Shado OWB clamshell holster for the Model 19. Good holster at a descent price.

It was one of only 3 places that even carry holsters for my S&W 9VE. I don't know why people are so down on the sigma, but I enjoy shooting mine. The trigger is a little sloppy but other than that I've shot 3 or 4 thousand rounds through mine without a problem. I do have the enhanced version.

I think the newer versions of the Sigma are great. The Enhanced series are very good pistols, although the triggers are known to be overly heavy. But it is a fine firearm. I got to shoot the SW40VE that a co-worker purchased, and it felt great in the hand.

I think sometimes that people are down on the Sigma's because of the initial problems with their early production pistols, but S&W has since greatly improved them. Of course there are people that don't like Glocks, or Sigs, or Rugers, or Springfields, or Smiths, etc. Maybe it's a brand or model loyalty thing, like Chevy C1500 guys vs. Ford F150 guys...neither one is wrong, they just like what they like for different reasons.

The trigger pull is 6.5lbs. I don't know how much lighter I would go and still be comfortable carrying every day. I shot a 1911 with a 2.5lb pull and I wouldn't feel safe with such a light trigger in the holster.

Check out delfatti.com. If he does not have it, call him and tell him what you want and he will make it. I don't think a finer holster can be found.
