Looking for a GOOD IWB

#1

Post by czfan »

Hello out there!!

This is a GREAT website!!! I am still fairly new and in the "waiting room" alot but I am not happy with the CHEAP OWB I got at Academy. I am/will be carrying my CZ 40-P. I LOVE this gun!! I would recommend picking one up before they may (or may not) stop making them. GREAT SHOOTER!!! Went to Comp-Tac looking and could not find a IWB for my gun. They have one for their duty size and compact but not for my stocky 3" 40-P. Can anyone recommend a place or website to go to to check out? Web shopping is OK but I would like to try it before I purchase.

You might want to e-mail comp-tac. Their guys might make you something even if it's not on the website.

You might want to check out Tucker Gunleather. They don't have a listing of what handgun models they support, but they make way nice products and their customer support is superb.

Forum member Rob Longenecker will probably be your contact there. If you want to check with him before you place an order, I'm sure he would be happy to answer any questions you might have before placing an order.

czfan,
Try czforum.com, go to the bottom of the page and click "ENTER FORUM".
They have some good info.
I read there, that Crossbreed Holsters makes an IWB for the CZ 40-P.

I have a Crossbreed IWB for a GLOCK, I like it alot. If you order one, and you want to be able to draw and shoot without changing your grip on the gun, you need to ask for a "full cut, combat draw".
Mine had to go back for a free rework. Now it's great!!

The 40-P is on my wish list, but by the time I get down to it, they will most likely have gone up in price!
Yup, I just looked, Bud's Gun Shop had them just last week for $287 + change. Not even listed today!!

I got a great leather OWB for $35 from them.
