I'm in search of a good edc belt that is not leather. There is so many and I was seeing if anyone has found one they really like and recommend? I will be carrying a 1911 most of the time.

Awesome! Thanks for the input. I'm defiantly gonna check them out in the morning. Thank you!carlson1 wrote:Not leather for me is The Wilderness Original Instructor Belt with polymer lined for a little more stiffness. This is the only non-leather belt for EDC I have tried and with great results. It last forever.

Leather if you change your mind for me is always The Belt Man.

I purchased the Ares Gear Ranger Belt a few months ago and don't regret it at all. It's a bit pricey, but the difference it made was amazing. If you are looking for a non-leather belt, I'd advise you to take a gander at this one. If you are looking for stiffness, this belt is about as stiff as it gets. I also carry a 1911 and this belt has made a significant difference in comfort.Danielk wrote:I'm in search of a good edc belt that is not leather. I've wanted an Ares enhanced for quite some time but the sizing scares me a bit... no one sizes off pants size and that's all they list. Can you offer any insight to the sizing and what kind of adjustment range you have?Ryan wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2016 11:14 am I purchased the Ares Gear Ranger Belt a few months ago and don't regret it at all. ETA- Sorry for the hijack, but rather than PM, I thought the OP may benefit from the answer if he's considering an Ares.
