Haha, the poor secretary. Each day that goes by she sounds more and more wore out.

Re: SB11 & HB910 This week....
Per senate rules it is his "right" to offer amendments, but as Sen Estes pointed out, they already hashed through all this a few weeks ago.joelamosobadiah wrote:Respecting his request and agreeing and complying are completely different. None of these will be accepted, just let him have his moment because as Estes said, it's his right to offer amendments.ELB wrote:Sen Estes also says he wants to keep the bill "clean" with no amendments. Good. So the next guy up says "I respect that" but I am going to offer a bunch of amendments anyway.
Let's see how long it goes before they start rushing him through them.

Did Dems just change the dates on their amendments from the April debate?

Amendment 3 - shiny badge - withdrawn!
The opposition is just rehashing the amendments that were shot down in original debate. Doing nothing but wasting time.
Amendment 4 - cities to "opt in" open carry???? Crazy!

And the Zafferini marathon starts, now "opt out" amendment, after her "opt in" amendment was tabled.
