Just read that. Part of me says good riddance, the other says I'd rather him pay for it while alive. I also want to know what drives people to these kinds of ends so that we can attempt to remedy the problem instead of being reactionary.

At any rate, I'm glad it's over if the reports are correct, and I hope that all 8 victims pull out of it and return to health in short order.

Mr Obama should be calling for a ban on fire alarms soon. But that will depend on whether any of the victims look like they could be his son. If the perp is his (hypothetical) son's look alike, then it will be a ban on police.
