First LEO encounter

Pulled over in Hutchins coming into Dallas. Speed limit changes from 70 to 60 somewhere but everyone does 80. He gets me going 75 in a 60. Hand him both my license and chl and he asks if i have my gun on me today. I tell him its in the console. He gives me back my chl, goes back to his car, then comes back with my ticket. Although dissappointed I suppose I deserve it. I was really hoping to get away with a warning.
