Gun looks to be identical to one of mine, my favorite actually. I'm curious about your experience with Chip McCormick mags, tho.
I have three 10 rd's, but have never been able to get them to run well. Lots of folks tell me they are great, but I cant use them. Been using Cobra mags without a glitch for a couple of years...........

I haven't had any problems with those 2 mags but I have had problems with other McCormick mags in THAT gun. For some reason my Kimber is very picky when it comes to magazines. For Carry mags I use only the 8 round Novak-ACT mags. The Novaks have run 100% in all my 1911's regardless of manufacturer. Not a single mag related failure.
