There are only 35 seats left and an email is going out by the NRA next week.

Charles, did you get the email I sent you on Saturday?

Charles, I'm already in town and am in a hotel down the street from where the conference is. I'm sure I won't be doing much, so if you need help, I'm here! Thanks.

Although, it was fun and short-lived, I picked up quite a bit to take back with me. Now....time to drive back to El Paso! :-( Thanks everyone!

I want to thank everyone for coming, especially since a lot of you folks drove a long way! I also appreciate the great presentations our speakers developed for the conference. Thanks Ed Williams (Skiprr) on developing your business, Frank Simonton, III on tax issues, Linda Watson (Crossfire) and Marty Groves on tips for running a class, Asst. Dir. RenEarl Bowie with DPS, Jeff Hewitt on insurance for instructors, and NRA/ILA's Chris Cox (by video).

I hope everyone enjoyed the conference and found the topics useful.

Sorry I was not able to make it down Charles. Sounds like an awesome venue. Will be looking forward to Linda and Marty's review at our CHL class next Saturday. :thumbs2:

Yep, also regret I could not make it. Another trip to south end of Houston on a Friday and gun show table in Lewisville this weekend plus a hunter ed class this evening made scheduling a little too tight. I would be anxious to hear a summary of what the DPS people had to say.

Skiprr,

I won an award and didn't know it? LOL. Right when we started the whole thing, Charles brought up that someone actually drove from El Paso to Houston to attend the conference...Yep, that was me! It was a fun lil trip, though. Definitely got a lot of quiet time!

Charles - thanks for the conference. Sorry this took so long but I'm looking forward to having more of these types of get-togethers. Apparently they are needed because of the lack of data being supplied from the DPS.

Jim (cabindoor) - I sat next to you and you just emailed me this week-end. Good to see you on this forum. - Bill Mc
I definately need to get out here and check this forum out more often.
