DPS fowl-ups

#1

Post by Rusty »

I have been doing this from the onset, but never heard this one.A student ,from about a month ago,was sent new FP cards and was told that his app.pack was short FP cards. Now I know and he knows that the cards were sealed -up in the pack by me.We would have rather heard the truth,"we lost them,or, we spilled coffee on them.I had my fingerprinter do new ones at my cost,I would rather my students be upset with DPS and not me.

Yep, pretty messed up down there. Sorry to hear of more of that "attitude".

If it makes ya feel any better, I had a lady back in last Saturday for more photos and fingerprints. After some not-so-friendly words with a gal who refused to let her talk to a supervisor, she faxed them a copy of her cancelled check as proof they HAD indeed received her packet. Per my instructions, she also had photocopies of everything plus the green postcard from DPS' receipt by certified mail. They finally admitted they had lost it all. Photocopies then deemed acceptable (supposedly - we'll see) on everything except fingerprints and photos, which we did again at no charge.
