Lost CHL-100 Forms

I, not long ago, made the decision to keep all CHL-100 copies electronically. In the midst of making that decision, I chose to get another hard drive to back them up on in the event that something happened.

Well, something did happen, but it took out both hard drives (big electric surge). I haven't had the opportunity to pull apart the external drive, so all of the data may still very well be there. But, in the event that the data is lost, what is the correct action to take? I still have all of the student data, so I can re-create the forms without issue, but wasn't sure if that was proper.

The data is only three classes worth (thank goodness), but still quite frustrating. :mad5

Ye Gads! Storage on removable media might be a better choice or, storage on some off site service.

I'm glad you only have 3 classes to replicate. I still keep all mine on paper I'm considering electronic storage.
