30.06 vs 30.07 reporting
Would it be possible to differentiate listings for 30.06 and 30.07 signage on this forem in a way that users can filter as well as control our email notifications? 51% signs would be useful too.
I will not open carry in public (and I think many will feel the same way) due to the fact that I loose a tactical advantage. Besides that, conceal is really more advantages and less confrontational.

There is a place for that, http://Texas3006.com
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

Re: 30.06 vs 30.07 reporting
Thank you administrators! That is a great feature as, so many 30.07 signs are showing up. Did we expect less?
Re: 30.06 vs 30.07 reporting
I was going to make a suggestion along these line as well. But my suggestion pertains to the map display. I would like to see different colored pins to quickly / visually differentiate 06 from 07 at a glance. This and/or a checkbox to filter what shows on the map. Sorry if I missed something that already accomplishes this on the map.

Re: 30.06 vs 30.07 reporting
Texas3006.com has an app now. I downloaded as soon as it became available. It will alert you if you're in proximity to a posted location. Today I was driving down I-35 in Schertz when I got three notices as I passed posted locations (all 3007 in this case)

The Texas 3006 App works so well; a few small bugs, but really good for Version 1. Like Rhino said, it alerts you when approaching or passing by places that restrict and they tell you what type of restriction as well. Very good.

Re: 30.06 vs 30.07 reporting
I have seen reports of new postings at some places I visit, but one such report on Quest Labs was absent at the one I visited this morning. I checked out the HEB in Luling this past weekend and it was indeed posted 30.07. It was a little hard to find because the had the automatic doors opened.

Re: 30.06 vs 30.07 reporting
My company just posted 30.6 signs. Yes, that is correct, not a typo. The signs say 30.6 NOT 30.06. I know it's very minor but is this valid or no? I have searched and have never found another "30.6 or 30.7" sign.
Re: 30.06 vs 30.07 reporting
That part would be incorrect and possibly make it invalid. How correct is the rest of the sign for wording and size?Ktashford wrote:My company just posted 30.6 signs. Everything else seems to appear legit but my comany has done things like this before. The Hispanic writing is correct but not the English. I don't think my comany has any legal standing to have 30.06 regulations but I am looking in to it. It's a storage warehouse. No drugs, alcohol, chemicals, anything like that.

Re: 30.06 vs 30.07 reporting
If they are a private entity (meaning not a government entity) they can post 30.06 or 30.07 signs to their heart's content! There is nothing in the law to stop them from doing so.

What do you base this theory on?Ktashford wrote:I don't think my comany has any legal standing to have 30.06 regulations but I am looking in to it.

Re: 30.06 vs 30.07 reporting
It's not a private entity though. It's a publicly owned company. And I tried to find all the requirements for a company to be able to have 30.06 signs and I don't see that they meet any. Not saying I'm 100% correct. I could have missed something. But why don't they have a legit 30.06 sign? I've never seen a 30.6. I know it's a tiny detail but to my knowledge, 30.06 and 30.6 are 2 different regulations. Or am I wrong?
