At 7:42 pm tonight, the TexasCHLforum will be 7 years old. Thanks to our Members and Moderators who have made the Forum a unique online community and an excellent resource. When I launched the Forum in 2004, if someone had told me we would reach 10,000 Members, I would have thought they were smoking those no-name cigarettes.

After moving to Texas (for the second time) from Florida in '94, I had to put my EDC weapon away. Finding this forum inspired my wife and I to to obtain Texas CHLs and take more responsibility for our safety.

Congrats! One thing I must say is that I _love_ this community. Sure, every once in a while folks get a little snippy, but there's a clear esprit de corps that I have NEVER found on other forums.

Thanks to Charles and all of ther moderators for keeping this site as Charles had intended. And thanks to all of the forum members as well.

Lots of stuff has been discussed in those seven years from the ridiculous to the sublime. It's been a great ride.

Thank you Charles. This forum has been my goto resource for all things CHL related. I appreciate the tone you set for all of us to follow, It makes this a great place to share ideas & experiences.

And YOU are responsible for me being here (whether a good or bad thing). Thank you for directing me.

It has been six years ago since we met at the CHL class and you told me of this forum. It has been a great source of information and camaraderie over the years.
