If you need a FFl in Katy area, I just finished a transaction with Matt at 2nd Amendment Arms and Ammo. Thought I would share this info in case someone is looking as well. He charges $30 for handgun, $15 with CHL. Nice guy, had everything ready for me when I showed up. His name and website below.

handgun transfer for CHL holder is now $10.

Just wanted to second this post. Matt is first class and the transfer is indeed $10 for CHL holders. Matt was very professional, I signed, paid and was done. His location is near Morton and the Grand Parkway which is super convenient.

Matt sent out an email today saying that he is closing up his business on the 22nd with the reason being that he is being transferred to Midland. Very unfortunate to hear since he did have a very reasonable fee for LTC holders.. His email didn't say whether he will continue to be an FFL in Midland, but I do hope he continues to do so. Best of luck to him!
