Thanks to this site and another, I found David as a resource for xfers.
Actually, found something on his site that I could use, so I got that instead.
Fast, smooth, friendly transaction today. Thanks David. Till next time. John.

BTW, just shipped off my paperwork (and money :( ) to be a Class III dealer. I should be able to start selling suppressors before Christmas!

Class III Special Occupational Tax paid and noted! I can now offer all those fun toys not really associated with a CHL

Another VERY satisfied customer. David made the process smooth and easy to get my Glock 30. Great guy and a true firearms enthusiast. Plus, he got me set up with a fantastic set of TruGlo TFOs!

Don't hesitate to do business with him. He is the right guy to go to. :thumbs2:

Thanks again!
Hello. My name is Red and I used to carry a .45. Now I carry a 9mm and it's getting easier to admit every day.

I asked Oldcannon to handle a transfer for me, he did a wonderful job, very professional and made the transfer so easy for me. I would drive 3x the distance to work with him again. :anamatedbanana

I really appreciate the feedback and kudos. Sadly, with my inability to get pretty much anything from distributors, I'm going to have to raise my transfer fees slightly ($20 chl/vet/police/fire, $30 otherwise) starting in Feb. I hate doing that, but I'm pretty much backed into a "no revenue" corner otherwise. Most of my distributors and direct sellers have told me that rifles and rifle parts are looking at a 12-24 month lead time now :grumble

What about Glock parts? I was considering getting an extended slide release for the G30. I'm also pontificating on getting a G21 because I like the G30 so much. Have they become scarce?

That's really unfortunate. I imagine all small shops are feeling the pain. I know I've resigned myself to not spending any range time or money on new gun stuff for a while.

I know that feeling... Just FYI old cannon let us know when your parts availability situation is restored I'm looking at building my first AR and I'd love to help a small business owner in my area over some of these "chain" establishments.
Chl class for me and wife=$225. Chl application fees =$280. Chl gear for 2=more $ the previous. Moving from sheep to sheepdog = priceless
