Comp-Tac Infidel

#1

Post by grandpatim »

I called Comp-tac today to order a C-T.A.C. for my Kimber Ultra Carry. I asked on a chance they may now make an Infidel to fit it now and was told yes. I couldn't order it over the phone as there was a problem with their office computer. She told me to order online and put in the comments box that it was for the Ultra Carry. She said they would ship in 7-10 days. I ordered the C-T.A.C. strut for it. Sorry I don't remember the ladies name. Now to go to Wal-Mart and get some larger waist pants.

Should I go 1 or 2 sizes larger?

Thanks,
Tim

You probably talked to Tammy. 1 size larger pants and belt should be adequate if your current pants are tight. If you can get 3 fingers in your waistband of you crrent pants now without cutting off blood circulation then you may want to wait for the holster before spending money you don't have to.

If it were me, I'd get 2 sizes larger. I quit growing vertically a long time ago and have since been growing laterally.

The Ultra Carry has a 3 inch barrel and the Pro Carry is a 4 inch. The Ultra Carry doesn't have a tactical rail either. Not sure about the Pro Carry.

I emailed them to see if they had something for a CZ-Rami and they
told me sorry they don't have a mold for those.

I wear a size 38 in Wrangler regular fit jeans. I have a pair of size 40 jeans that I bought a while back and I put them on today and my Kimber fit right in the waistband with room to move. So I am going to try them after I get it and see if they are big enough. I will probably start buying the relaxed fit so I have room for my Taurus in the front pocket. I don't wear anything else but my uniform pants and I can't carry on duty anyway. Never been a slacks kind of guy.

Thanks guys,
Tim
