Range Report...
Ok,
I was going to wait till later to post this, and since its only about an old broken down and abused 1911 cloner .45
That was brought back to life, through my patience and loving care...
I went to PSC yesterday late afternoon and shot up a box and have to say it was a resounding success...
I have some pictures, but they are on my cell phone...I think I might be able to extract them off of that thing sometime, if it works like a regular digital camera...
I would say that the pistol need a bit more work in regards to sighting it in...I think it shoots slightly to the left, but is mostly on the mark...
Next time I need to remember to bring a target...I had to scrounge around and managed to get lucky and found an IDPA cutout (not a cardboard "match target) to staple up and shoot up at that time...
And don't forget a stapler...
I hope some of you get a chance to shoot it sometime...It really is a great pistol...Its my Dad's second favorite gun...Next to the TC he used to win the Nationals a few years back...
I can only hope I get to be half as good as he is...

Another thing...
Is it good luck to get rained on while at the range???
I'll work on the pics tonight when I leave the office...
I have a Razor phone from Motorola that appears to take the standard digital camera USB cable from the data port on the phone to the USB port on the confuser at home...
I think it'll work...

Shooting just seems to relax me for some reason...jbirds1210 wrote:Stevie,
I am sitting here at work....wishing that I had a picture of that .45 spitting out some brass!!! Thanks for the report...it was nice to hear.
I think I'll get this puppy worked out, get a good holster, a few more magazines and go shoot it at the next IDPA match at PSC...
Should be fun...

Hmmmmm,
Could be he didn't want her to have to go through all the trouble of "breaking in" a brand new gun. Was thinking about her, putting her wants and needs before his own...
Probably figures he better just go buy that icky 'ol new .45 for himself and go through all the trouble of breaking it in and fussin' with it and having to clean and oil it and sparing the wife all the time and trouble.
What a guy!!!
She should be proud.....

No joy on downloading the pics...
Got to have some sort of software from the phone provider to get things to sync up and transfer like you'd think they'd do anyway...

Steve take real camera to the range next time...
Steve feels like butt of joke...At others expense...
But Steve get last laugh, now have big bang stick...
