I was thinking a Barrett .50 BMG so he would just have a massive infarction and we wouldn't have to see any more articles from him.

I don't know man... a 50 might be so bad that he just suddenly ceases to exist in the known universe from the level of fear that he might feel.

My 12ga doesn't bruise my shoulder. This guy needs more calcium. Or iron, or whatever makes you not bruise like a wuss.

I can't help but keep laughing about this. Got to thinking, if he was shooting a flurry, based on what he just wrote, he would probably have to change some clothing when and if he finished!! :biggrinjester:

A rifle does not sound like a cannon. Only someone who has never been near a cannon could say such a thing.

I spent most of my 34 years in heavy armored divisions with the M109 howitzer. The projectile is 6 inches in diameter and weighs nearly 100 pounds. When she fires, you feel the concussion in your chest before you realize you hear it. Even with a hydraulic recoil system and double baffle muzzle break, the 28 ton chassis bucks and rocks.

There are several good videos on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEHa2izgkQw

Just understand that even if the audio blew out your computer's speakers, it could not come near to accurately reproducing the sound or concussion.

As General Patton said, "God help me, I do love it so."

If that girlyman thinks an AR is punishing he needs to shoot one of my 300 Winmags.

If an AR-15 bruised his shoulder, I want to know who hit him with it. That's the only way it could happen.

That author is nothing but an unmitigated liar. :mad5

Better yet, I have a 340 Weatherby Mag. That will test your man card. Of course I wouldn't let him shoot it because with my luck it would scare him so that he would drop it and I just had the stock refinished.

I'm still confused by him saying the gun dealer said that an AR 15 can empty a 40 round "clip" in 5 seconds. Am I using the wrong type of devices on mine? It doesn't have a clip, and I can't pull the trigger fast enough to fire 40 rounds in 5 seconds. I guess I need to contact that gun dealer and see what he has in stock.

Hmmm. Talk about extreme exaggeration.

My dads pellet gun kicks about as hard as an AR-15.

Maybe they secretly gave him a DPMS .308 or .338 instead of a .223. Poor thing. Where did I put that darn violin.
