:iagree: I've also noticed both of those phenomenon.

Correct me if I'm wrong here. Doesn't that still constitute a prohibition of licensed carry and thereby run afoul of the law? We established that the Fort Worth show is on public property, right? It doesn't have to be a 30.06 or 30.07 sign to violate the law, if I'm remembering correctly. This should be reported to the AG office next time the show runs. Do you have go through the whole process for subsequent violations like this?
I prefer dangerous freedom to safety in chains.

Let's go Brandon.

The only sign I saw when I went back in May, was one that said no loaded firearms allowed, and that buying a ticket was a contract agreeing to the terms, (or something along those lines) It didn't say anything about them having the ability or authority to revoke your permit or confiscate your gun. I CC right past the sign and no one asked me anything the whole time I was there. The only thing they could do was to ask someone to leave, and they would forfeit their entry fee. I didn't go this past weekend, so I can't vouch for any changes to signage.

IMHO, it does not violate the law because it does not prohibit us from carrying our handguns at the show. They are trying to prohibit the manor in which we carry them. There is no distinction in the law about whether it is legal or illegal based on whether it is loaded or not. As others have noted, it would probably also not be possible for them to cause us to lose our CHL/LTC.

Dreamer42 nailed it. Emphasis added.

The last time I was at the FW show was in Dec 2014. I did my home work and was able to buy my wife a pistol for well under the prices that I found on the net and local stores. However, I went back in 2015 and prices were 15 % to 20% higher. The good thing is that, people are buying and that's all ways positive.
